Gallery - 1978 Trek TX900

Pictures of a 1978 Trek TX900 owned by Chas. Porter. The distinctive feature of the 900 is the fastback seat stays as can be seen in the first photo. A bit unusual is the Columbus tubing fork decal shown in the last picture.

Chas writes: ". . . pictures of my 900, which hasn't been ridden since 1982. I dug it out of the garage at my parents house and took these photos, and based on the handlebar position shown here, I didn't know anything about bike fit and position back then."

"The bike is as I bought it off the floor back in 1978, with Nuovo Record derailleurs, hubs, crank, headset and brakes, and a Cinelli seat, seatpost, stem, and bars."
